Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Abe Pollin refuse to give his share back?

My opinion, yes... Absolutely. I'm sure he would have to take nights off and such, but I think he could average at least 15ppg or more and fill the stat sheet up nicely in other categories as well.

Yes, father time is undefeated, but MJ is smart. He understands angles, his opponents strengths and weaknesses, and just basketball in general. His basketball IQ is second to none, and that will not have diminished since he retired last. Physically, he can still dunk at 50 years old and 40+ lbs. heavier than he was as a player. He would be awesome to see out there again and he would make an impact, but he would need more rest. I would love it.

    And then there is this:

Tell me why you truly believe if he made a comeback, he’d be the best player on the Bobcats right now: Tim Grover: “First of all, the Bobcats are a very young team, so he knows how to create [things] and how to take away guys’ strengths. … Just the way he would compete, that if one of the players actually did beat him, he would take it so seriously that he would get himself in better shape and re-challenge that individual until he’d be able to beat him again. His skill set was so high. … I guarantee it’s still higher than most of the guys out there.” Sports Radio Interviews

And that is from his trainer, lol. I don't know, I think all of us as MJ fans may oversell what he can do because he has that mythical aura about him, but I truly believe he could come back and make a difference.

I think that the deal was Abe was legally obligated to sell his shares back but, he would not give him the President/GM title the 2nd time so MJ told him to eff off.
