Default Gordon & Dunlap Incident Ups Cats Desire to Move Gordon

    Per Woj:

The phrase "bout of disruptive behavior" is interesting, if nothing else.

Some of the players may have an issue with Dunlap, but that was very unprofessional of Gordon. Not cool at all. Just hope this does not affect any potential trades. We dont need a cancer on the team.

If Dunlap could push the buttons of someone as mild mannered as Ben Gordon to this level then he must be a dickhead.

It's probably more like Gordon (from Mount Vernon, If I remember correctly) realizes he's on the verge of being traded away from Charlotte and to a playoff team in (essentially) his hometown, and he's going to do everything in his power to force that deal.

If it was up to the Bobcats then Ben Gordon would've been traded to the Nets for Kris Humphries but unfortunately it's not and the ball is in Brooklyn's court. This incident only hurts our matter of trading him with any kind of leverage.

Right, making Charlotte "more determined than ever" to trade him hurts his chances of being out of town by the deadline.

I hope it's that he's checked out and that this isn't the start of the team bailing on Dunlap. I'm concerned by the phrase "humble yourself". That's a pretty specific phrase.

It doesn't hurt Ben Gordon's chances of being traded...but it hurts our chances of any kind of leverage. I'm sure the front office might regret letting this little tidbit of the incident get out.

I think almost the whole team has checked out on Dunlap except for maybe Mullens (since he has the green light).
