Does everyone NOT remember BG being part of the group of guys that all pretty much went rogue on Detroit's bench just a few years ago? He also had issues in Chicago.
Yes, he is "emotionless" on the court (because he doesn't do barrel rolls over bad calls like many do) but he's had bouts where he's openly disagreed about coaches in the past.
It is funny the idiots on PTI said we never should have had Ben Gordon because we already drafted Kemba Walker. Apparently they are basically one and the same.

I asked in my Scott Skiles thread About NBA team success stories that started with a development coach, and people were throwing out Popavich, Doc, and Scott Brooks as development coaches. I replied, "Those coaches could develop players...among a few other things," to which others replied "who said Dunlap can't be Skott Brooks or Poppavich in the future?"
Now the same people are saying "he's only here to develop players, so his leadership shouldn't be top of mind." So I'll have to revise my old q from the Skiles thread to: How many NBA success stories started with a "player development rental coach" to which the GM handed over the reins to a tactician/leadership savvy coach after a few seasons?
If ppl are going to throw out the "well he's only here for player development" card...don't come around later and say "he's our coach of the future!"
Can't believe I'm alone on this respect topic: Respect is earned in every walk of life, regardless of what title is given. The title of "coach," professor," or "CEO" can be given without being earned..and if that person has his own conviction that he truly deserved that title, and is 100% qualified to the tee, it will be revealed in a way that almost always gets rational people to follow his lead. A track record would do the same. This of coarse is debating along the lines as to whether he's the coach of the future. I don't buy this "the name tag says coach" so Cho will have to clean up the mess.
I have a hard time believing Doc was defied like this even with the goons he inherited when he first coached the Cs, but if you remember specific incidents similar to this one please share.

I just don't get the BG hate.
The losing is taking its toll on our fanbase because this place used to have a good sense of humor about it. I actually saw people being corrected/warned for cussing at one another at one point, but it seems like people are drawing lines now and if you don't fit completely over on one side, off with your head. A lot of sniping and trash talk, and for what? Because we disagree?
I'm just really getting disheartened by what's been going on lately... Not only from our team, but fellow fans treating other fans like crap because they like player A and you like player B (and/or coach).
