Gordon can kick and scream like a child all he wants but Cho has him buy the balls. He's an expiring next year and unless he wants to be playing for the vet minimum somewhere the following season he's gonna have to a model player and teammate starting in training camp next year so he can earn minutes to get a decent contract in free agency. And whether he wants to admit it or not,he knows he can't strong arm a team that is rebuilding and only wants draft picks and cap room. We already have the pick. Giving him DNP's all next year letting him expire won't hurt us one bit. So if he wants to act like a little bitch it's only gonna hurt him. I'm sure he'll figure that out sooner rather than later. And if he doesn't i'm sure his agent will! lol.

Per Marc Stein:
Okay, we move Gordon, but Bargnani? Not on board with this, and of course this could be Stein speculating. Fortunately, if there is any truth to the rumors, its sounds like Toronto isn't very interested.@ESPNSteinLine
All-Star Weekend trade rumble: Charlotte's growing determination to move Ben Gordon has presented Toronto w/another Andrea Bargnani suitor.
@ESPNSteinLine
Sense I get, though, is that Toronto ain't gonna bite on Bargs-for-Gordon deal. Raps have Terrence Ross & Alan Anderson playing well there
@ESPNSteinLine
Gordon easier to take back $-wise than Boozer w/one less year on deal, but Raps unlikely to just trade ex-No. 1 overall pick for sake of it

I didn't check this thread before I made a new one, but we can not make this deal. I would rather bench Gordon for the rest of the year than do make this trade.

There are no veterans of consequence on this team. BG's pissed? Williams is pissed? Diop's pissed? Tyrus? Whoever else that isn't named Kemba, Byron, Biz, MKG or JT...fuck 'em. They have no relevance for what this franchise is doing; they are roster filler that help us meet the salary floor, that's it. They should count themselves lucky to be collected an ungodly sum of money for playing the game that we all love...and especially our veterans with their highly limited skillsets who are fringe NBA players as it is.
I enjoyed some of the shooting displays he put on, but BG will get no support from me anymore. That was just classless.

Just to put it out this way, I will happily call Swedd a dumbass when he is being one.
Teej? The same. Spec, hell yes. Dav, no, because that old mofo is just about ALWAYS right.
It's not so much the insults that fly. A lot of the time will be friendly banter between the old ones which is just fine, at the end of the day we may disagree but we still respect each other.
However there are some cases where people most certainly go too far and a warning MUST take place.
There is a line in that sand, and any person with common sense can see it, and I am more than happy to warn anyone that crosses that line, the rest of the mods will probably say the same.
The problem is a bit like Swedd said. A lot of guys are coming in and saying a lot of random stuff and then declaring that they can't be wrong. Some threads/posts are just so downright damn stupid that you lose 1 IQ for reading it, I don't mind calling out someone being a dumbass or anything. A lot of older threads you see can go pages and pages of discussion that may go absolutely friggin nowhere, but both are still having a discussion, stuff we love. Too many young bloods coming in now, with the greater-than-thou attitudes that it is completely impossible that they may be wrong. However a lot of the guys here know their stuff. They live/breathe basketball (and stats, oh man the stats). So everyone just needs to realize that this is a public forum and that people will have different opinions.
Example: I once made a post about Kemba being the reason the Bobcats start off to a slow start on RealGM. Hot damn most of that forum was after me, but to this day I reakon I was right =P.
Example 2: Dav's wisdom holds no bounds. Once had an discussion with a whole bunch of BCPlaneteers about Biyombo or something, and only Dav had the hairy big steel balls to back me up. We ended up winning that discussion =]. But we never were angry or anything cos people had a different opinion, that's just how forums are.
At the end of the day, we all love the Bobcats and most of us are passionate fans.
And as long as you don't take the insults too personal or whatever, we can all peacefully co-exist, in Ziggy's concentration camps.
On Topic:
Gordon is acting like an immature brat
That is all.

Proud Australian Bobcats Fan!!!
To piggyback on TC's post, that's why this is such a great virtual community: we all look out for one another and respect each other's opinions (within reason). That's why I was/am so hot at a post a couple weeks back on the "Embarrassed about visiting fans in TWCA" thread. Proud went off on the Lakers and their "fans" at the game and said he hated Kobe. Someone responded to that by saying, because Proud hates Kobe, "Fuck you." Now maybe I missed the tone of the reply, maybe he and Proud are good buds, which makes it okay, but it came off antagonistic and that being the case is crossing the line here at BCP.
Maybe I'm overreacting but I think we're all above responding to an opinion we don't agree with with a "fuck you." We don't disrespect other members like that; it's what makes BCP better than the rest.
