I would suspect something like this from gm in training... No, this is even more hilarious![]()
the basketball asset he is
youngest player in the league
trade him before he loses value
makes sense
I will look back on this thread with regret when MKG is sittin at Hendo level value late into his rookie contract and doesn't fit on our team anymore
we were probably too late anyway, I think people don't view MKG highly that much anymore either so Cousins is not a very likely trade. I will say that it is quite depressing that we thought it would have been a bad trade for us to add value onto #2 to get Harden. what a no brainer it is in hindsight

i'm pretty sure this is not what the term "selling high" means.

He's the best asset on the team and over the long-run he will develop into the best player from the current roster. The only way this theory makes sense is if you feel that two eventualities are written in stone: 1) Charlotte drafts a 2guard in this year's draft and 2)they draft Wiggins next year. OK. Assuming we draft Wiggins is kind of like assuming that we were going to get Anthony Davis. We all saw how accurate that assumption turned out to be. Also, Charlotte could easily (and statistically is more probable) to wind up picking at 3 or 4 in this year's draft which would probably mean Bennett or Noel.
MKG is one of only a few reasons to be excited for this team.

So Dunlap can't manage Ben Gordon's personality but you think Cousins is a good fit for us! LMAO!
MKG was a lot better before Dunlap started coaching him. The difference now is he isn't playing aggressive because every time he gets a few fouls Dunlap jerks him out of the game. Everyone says Dunlap is doing a good job of playing the young guys but last three games MKG has had 14,15 and 20 minutes. So he is struggling a bit, let him play through it.
If you sit him out by the three point line and use him to spread the floor he is not going to look good. Everyone knew his shot was not there yet. If you iso him in the mid post and set up a play where he can go one on one or the other team is forced to double he is going to look like a beast.
How about we get a decent coach in here before we trade one of our best players based on somebody that hasn't even played a minute of NCAA basketball.
