I think this is a two way threat
it helps toronto with their negotiations over boozer/barg dealing
its helps us trying to unload bg on the nets
I don't know if this is conjecture, or if this is an actual rumor at All-Star weekend, but:
The thought of him and Mullens on the floor at the same time makes me physically ill.Marc Stein @ESPNSteinLine
All-Star Weekend trade rumble: Charlotte's growing determination to move Ben Gordon has presented Toronto w/another Andrea Bargnani suitor

Sense I get, though, is that Toronto ain't gonna bite on Bargs-for-Gordon deal. Raps have Terrence Ross & Alan Anderson playing well there
Marc Stein @ESPNSteinLine
Gordon easier to take back $-wise than Boozer w/one less year on deal, but Raps unlikely to just trade ex-No. 1 overall pick for sake of it
Not to mention, he has two years left on his deal after this season.
In Cho I Trust

Bargs is owed 23 million over the next 2 seasons. Weve got a player as good with the same size, shot, strengths & weaknesses. I don't see how he is a good fit for our team.
I wouldn't be surprised if these teams have talked. I wouldn't be surprised if Cho's talked to everyone who would take his calls regarding Gordon. It appears that incident on Monday was the last straw for the Cats. I think he'll be gone by the deadline, but I don't think they'll take an absolute junk deal to get rid of him. I have a hard time thinking it would just be Gordon/Bargs straight up.
Though he's done damage to his trade value in terms of taking some leverage away from the Cats, I just can't see Cho essentially cutting off his nose to spite his face. I believe he'll move Gordon, just not for the first thing that comes along. Maybe the Nets can keep striking out and come back to trade Humphries for him.
If we got this guy, he'd be better off the bench than Gordon and would be less of a headache. But I'd like to get something else out of Toronto if possible of course.
You know if Toronto wanted to throw a first round pick at us along with Bargnani, then i'm game. We're in a position where collecting first round picks are a premium.
