Why wouldnt he be able to play the 2? Has the size, skills ect. He may not be the fastest 2 but as he is 6'6 220 pounds which in turns creates a miss match on the other end.

Think back when we had Stephen Jackson. Hes slow to be a 2 but is a great scorer. Thats what I see in Shabazz. Then all the comparisons will start from our 09-10 team to next years team.

walker- felton (felton couldn't lick the dirt of walkers shoes)
Shabazz- Jackson (there game is a lot alike)
MKG- Wallace (MKG has been compared to Wallace since drafted)
Mullins or whoever- Diaw (Hopefully we can get a nice PF in free agency)
Biz- Chandler (With another offseason to work on his game I think he will be better than Chandler was for us)

He has very poor lateral quickness, sucks at defense and is just slow overall. He does have really long arms though, so that might make up for some of his weaknesses on D.

First if all Capt Jack was a really good passer, Shabazz isn't known for that. Most of Jacks career was based off of being a point-forward

LMAO... When was Capt Jack ever known for passing the ball. The biggest complaint about him was that he made the ball stop!! That he doesn't pass the ball but ok. I don't know who ever told you he's known for passing. He's known for jacking shots up and complaining to the refs.

Jack has always been a very good passer. He averaged around 4 per game in Charlotte and got a season high up to 6.5 one season.

If Bennett is a SF, then you're the only person on planet earth who's projecting him to play that position. He has a 7'1 wingspan and is built like a tank with a jersey on. He definitely a 4. Given his all around scoring skills, he's gonna be a nightmare mismatch for opposing teams. I'd take him over Muhammed or McLemore. Dunlap also appears to prefer using Taylor @ 2, so if we had to play Taylor,Gordon, and maybe a cheap vet like Morrow by committee there for a year i don't think it would be horrible if it was for the long term good of the team.

My ultimate draft would be to trade the Portland and Detroit pick(or Sessions) to put ourselves in a position to come away with Muhammed and Bennett and then go hard after Pekovic this off season. But if i had to choose, there's no way i'd pass up on Bennett. He would have a huge impact on our team and i think he's gonna be a legit all-star in the east.

going to have vehemently (that's right, i mean business!) disagree with trading either of those picks in this draft. next year's draft is shaping up to be a monster draft at the top of the class. maybe a 5-8 deep class as far as all-stars go. save our ammo for that draft.
