Why are we even pitting the two against each other? It only makes people rip on the other guy to back their favorite of the two, when we should be supporting both.
And damn, a lot of yall are impatient with MKG. Lets see, NBA players who spent their rookie year as a teenager in the league:
10.4 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.1 steals, 1.6 blocks, 49% FG
9.0 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists, .7 steals, 1.0 blocks, 45% FG
7.6 points, 1.9 rebounds, 1.3 assists, .7 steals, .3 blocks, 42% FG
7.0 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.5 assists, .8 steals, 1.0 blocks, 45% FG
4.1 points, 2.8 rebounds, .2 assists, 0 steals, .6 blocks, 45% FG
3.2 points, 1.6 rebounds, .5 assists, .4 steals, .1 blocks, 43% FG
The order is KG, MKG, Kobe, T-Mac, Jermaine, and last is Crash. I'm not saying MKG is going to be a Hall of Famer, I'm just saying even Hall of Famers (or multiple All-Stars) needed an adjustment period of at least a year or so. He is second out of all of those players. He can average 5 and 5 the rest of the year and it wouldn't change my view of him, I'm just tired of people thinking he's destined to be an average role player without even giving him a full year yet.
