what is that sup to mean?
I wonder why Brendan Haywood was a "DNP-Coach's Decision" for the Sacramento and Portland games. Doesn't everyone know he's a Roy Hibbert-caliber player?
So I understand giving Dunlap a year to try to turn him around but, we really messed up by not amnestying his ass last summer. Tyrus has contributed nothing and by having him take up Salary Cap space, we missed out on being invloved in the pre-Rudy Gay trade that ultimately led to Cleveland getting this:
Memphis sent big man Marreese Speights, guards Wayne Ellington and Josh Selby, and a future first-round draft pick to the Cavs for forward Jon Leuer.
This is exactly why people were begging the Bobcats to amnesty him... Penny wise & Pound foolish.
I get so frustrated by how this organization is ran.

It definitely would have been nice to pick up that future first from Memphis just for having cap space. It's why I'd rather see the team just sit on some space this summer instead of overpaying a guy who isn't a perfect fit just to have done something. OKC got the pick that wound up being Serge Ibaka from the Suns for eating half a year of (a still productive!) Kurt Thomas' expiring contract.
My perspective is Jordan is wasting that money anyway.. We are getting nothing from Tyrus as it stands, it's like he is actually already amnestied except he's taking up the cap room that could have been better utilized.
Plus some of his costs will most likely be offset by whatever team bids for him... I think some team will bid atleast the minimum for him.

MJ does not want to pay over 20 million for a guy to play against him. And I can't blame him for that.
