pretty interesting and good article that i came across check it out: http://www.chron.com/sports/article/...ss-4336654.php
you can clearly see MKG's confidence coming back lately especially not hesitating to pullup with a jumper
Energy. Passion. Skill. Strong Work Ethic. High character.
These words describe our last three lottery picks. They are also the reasons why I am comfortable with the young core and why I have no doubt that they will all be very successful in this league. I can't wait to see where they are (along with future draft picks) in the next few years.
Why the hell was this in a Houston paper? Lol...

"Climb down Lemon, Climb down"
Ohhh, okay thanks
Yessir, I knew he got a little confidence against the Nets when MKG pulled up as soon as he touched the ball. Keep it up MKG! We all expect MKG's 2nd year to be much much better than his rookie year, as Kemba did.
Yeah, this article confirms what I was trying to say in another thread. He's fixed two big flaws in his mechanics, now he just has that one big flaw left to remedy.
The trajectory on his shot is much higher and more natural now. He used to almost line drive his shots to the hoop, just barely getting over rim level. Now they actually rise up and can fall into the rim, or even bounce in because of the more gentle angle of the arc.
Also, his footwork seems to have improved, as it seems he squares up to the basket much better, and he's not falling away as much on his jumpers. He's always jumped high on his shots, maybe a little too much, and kicked his feet forward. This seems much less severe now, which allows for a more consistent motion and less risk of his legs pulling him off balance.
So now that he has improved his foundation and his release point, which honestly will improve his accuracy much more than just fixing his hitch, he does still need to get rid of that hitch. It just makes his shot too slow, allowing a defender that extra split second of time to recover and leap to block his shots.
If he shoots a couple hundred one handed shots a day this summer, then I think that would go a long way to fixing this bad habit, since its impossible to hitch with just one arm. Also, if he could learn to shoot going on the way up, instead of right when he's coming back down, I think that would improve his shot quickness and add a little more accuracy, as it requires slightly less energy and movement to get a shot off.
And I found videos! Don't know who compiles them, but they have both of MKG's last two games and his array of jumpers, dunks, and drives:
Full Brooklyn highlights (with that awesome dunk at the end I was looking for):
Full Portland highlights:
Think about that, fellas. My MLB team has had the worst record in the sport the last 2 years and with being forced to move to the AL West, will be at least 3 100+ loss seasons in a row; and we all know about the Bobcats plight. Add in the Panthers....pro sports are a cruel mistress.

"The Charlotte Hornets name has been a mainstay throughout the region for many years, and we are excited to announce our intention to re-establish this historic brand. We believe that its return will galvanize our fan base by unifying our loyal Bobcats fans with those who have strong memories of our city's NBA predecessor." MJ, 5-21-13
