do you guys think the absence of sessions and the greater playing time of mcroberts is coincidental to hendo's string of nice games, or is there some correlation?
also, do you think he's shaken off his injuries finally and has just gotten into a good groove because of that?
Yes and yes...but as I know Sessions can be a distributor I'd put more emphasis on the latter over the former. I put a lot of value on point/forwards.
3rd point...he's looking a lot better. I was one that was very concerned about his ability to stay healthy but he's had a good stretch since the beginning of the season and he's been getting pounded too.

DeRozan managed to get a stupid 4 year, $38M+ extension out of Colangelo. It'll be a tighter market for Henderson, but any guesses as to what his market value will be?Code:Player Age G MP PER TS% eFG% ORB% DRB% AST% STL% BLK% TOV% USG% WS/48 DeMar DeRozan 23 68 2523 14.1 .514 .444 1.9 11.3 12.5 1.3 0.7 10.1 23.7 .066 Gerald Henderson 25 54 1607 16.1 .528 .462 2.9 11.1 15.0 1.6 1.4 9.5 23.0 .070
Derozan is younger and a more sexy player, I think Hendo's career has been tainted being here. People think the only reason he scored what he does is because we have nobody else to do so. I don't expect Hendo to get anything quite like that, there may be a team planning to make a run at him. I am saying between 6-8 mill over 3 years, with team option for a 4th will be the offer for him

I think fair value for Henderson would be right around the $5-6.5 million per range. I don't think I would give him more than $6 mill though
And that is exactly the issue we've been debating here I think. Not that the guy can/can't play. He has waited to the end of his contract with us to finally start to show real promise, which of course ups potential offers on the market that could be beyond reason for us to match. At this point in his career with what he has shown for us, the best I could see offering him is around $6.5 million range. Anything beyond that is too risky for us.
