What's in a Name?

If you were presented with an option to vote on a new name, what would you pick? As an outsider hornicans fan, I just want to get an idea on what the majority of fans think.
A. Keep Bobcats
B. Hornets
C. Any alternate name ideas

Personally, what's best for the team is probably, in this order: Hornets, anything by Bobcats, Cats, Bobcats.

I want what is best for the team, meaning butts in the seats. So put me down for Hornets.

I prefer animal type names to more abstract ones like Flight, I just think it's more fun for kids to root for. I hate the color blue, I'm one of the rare ones that prefers we go back to orange if we don't rebrand. If they rebrand I think they should go for something vaguely religious in nature to appeal to the massive Southern Baptist and other protestant demographics that is the Bible Belt of NC. Something like Crusaders for example.

Hornets, no doubt. We either stay the Bobcats or change to the Hornets. There are no other alternative being considered, in my opinion. I would put the odds 80-20 that we go back to the Hornets.

Sup guys! I'm new here. Just wanted to say a few things on this name change situation. I have been reading this forum for a few weeks now. Since the NO Hornets name change. I remember listening to our first game in about 1988 when I was 12. We lost by around 50 points, but no one yelled you suck or anything like that. Instead a standing O. Just wanted to say that cause I see some comments like" Name change not going to change the product on the court". I think it has more to it than that.

I tried to follow the Cats, just couldn't do it. Also, in those days, you had your favorite players but now players go thru revolving doors.

I live too far from CLT to ever go to a game but if the name goes back, I will buy a lot of gear just like the old days.
