SG slot "denied?"

My SG slot for my starting lineup has the letters "SG" in red, when I hover over the letters, a box pops up and says "this slot is not available to accrue stats: has this happened to anyone before?

I haven't had that happen to me. Does it do that when you are trying to move a player there?

If I fill in the slot, the stats will not record.
