I wish we had sent him to okc while they were offering that package deal with J.Lamb and PJ3.
Don't get me wrong tho, I like Sessions. But I don't think I'd pass up this deal.
Fourth it. I don't know how deals are done and what Sessions' worth is, but I would think if he is in demand that team or teams would be the one(s) doing the calling, not us. Makes us seem desperate (which we likely are) and it may also lessen what value Sessions has if we're the ones fishing with phonecalls.
Plus, I think Sessions offers some intangibles (a good vet presence, as opposed to Gordon) that are not easily replaced.

I would like to agree, but the natural tendency is to overvalue our own players, and therefore, I just don't see us getting much in return for Sessions. As much as he's done here this year for his value, GMs could easily look back at his stays elsewhere and see how quickly he can be phased out of an offense when there are more domineering figures on the team, like in L.A. I think Sessions excels in situations where there isn't any specific leader, and on top of that, he's basically playing for his hometown team here so there is an extra layer of comfort.
TBH, I'd be open to trading anyone ("shopping") on the team. Doesn't mean I dislike the guys, but really, I can't see any of them as being untouchable.
That was actually a trade I proposed. Susan Bible, who covers the Thunder, said OKC was thinking about offering a package of Lamb, PJ3, and Maynor for an experienced back-up PG. The name that was brought up was JJ Barea. I just thought Sessions would have been a better alternative. I would say if that deal was offered to us we would have taken it with no hesitation.
He's not even being utilized to the best of his abilities because the team is focused on developing Kemba.
I'm all for trading him, only because I want to see him do better. I've been a fan since he was on a rookie on the Bucks fighting for a roster spot. I was extremely excited when Charlotte completed one of my long standing fantasies and signed him. However, I still think he is nowhere near reaching his potential. If we are logically going with the person we invested a first round pick in, I hope the organization is fair to him and Ramon finds a new team that can actually use him.
