Depends on the price tag and what Charlotte does in the draft. If Cho drafts a big and Detroit doesn't try to overpay him like they overpaid Gordon, then he's welcome back. If the team drafts a swingman and Henderson gets a 4-year/$40-million offer, it no longer makes sense to retain him. Extend him the qualifying offer knowing he may or may not be back.
I think we can all agree contract demands will be the key...and with the shrinking cap I like spectres idea of a "make-good" like the "Crash" deal...I seriously doubt teams (with the new cap) will line up to over-pay...cap space is proving too valuable (facilitating trades for picks etc.) and not many teams will have it (cap space) to over-pay players that have not been consistent...

Hendo better defender , can play both the two and the three positions , Shooting 45% from the field. Stright up a better player.
Chemristy between him and Kemba is really starting to come. I think devolping players multi years is key . So im all in for signing Hendo, drafting the BPA . Signing the big of Chos choice and more team team chemristy.
A contract like Spectre is talking about would be great . I just don't want to give away another asset for nothing .
The key word is continue to build.
