Cody Zeller.... actually starting to warm up to him

I've mentioned on here how disappointed I've been in him and how I really don't want him, but that's so frustrating because he's the PERFECT fit for us in my opinion. Zeller's strength is offense and he's 7'0".... PERFECT to pair with Bizz. Bizz's strength is obviously defense, so on offense we could let Zeller take on the bigger centers and Bizz play as the PF, and on defense switch them off and let Zeller take on the opposing PF and Bizz the C. If Zeller defended PFs he would have a height advantage on a good bit of them which could make him more effective as a defender. He's aggressive and I just really like what he brings to the table offensively. I mean who are we really wanting in this draft? I'd almost rather have him than Noel, Noel and Bizz gives us nothing offensively on the post. It's just this draft is so bad I almost think it would be worth a gamble to go Zeller. I just don't see who we're gonna regret missing on. If we could trade back to about 5-8 and just pick up a second or something, I almost would and just gamble on Zeller. It's frustrating because he has so many red flags, but it would make sense.

I would have two issues:

1: His shooting range is very poor, with him and Biz teams would be able to just let them go out the paint and leave them free while packing the lane. This would make it harder for Kemba and MKG getting inside.

2: It was visible all season that guys who were bigger and stronger than him limited his effectiveness, in the NBA that is going to be pretty much everyone.

But then again I do agree with all the points you said, it's all a question of how everything translates into the NBA... Anyone have a crystal ball?
