I dont think ppl realize the asset we have in Kemba and he can do for our team, esp our offense.
This guy is insanely quick and with a air tight handle. He can beat his man, split double teams / pick n rolls and get into the lane at will.
When he gets into the lane it forces guys to help leaving their man which if the right pass is made will result in a dunk or layup everytime. In the even a wing defender comes in to help someone will get a wide open jumpshot. Half the time Kemba will take the shot (contested sometimes) when he should have hit the big under the basket. Hopefully he will improve on that.
A perfect example of this I saw recently was the college national championship game. Louisville was doing a layup drill on offense with the quickness and ballhandling of Silva and their SG.
Kemba should be attacking the paint / lane on every possession creating easy buckets for himself and teammates.
Glad we got him.
I disagree. A bunch of chaps here have most certainly advocated Kemba as a player.
Me, I doubted him. Hated his shoot first mentality and his 'selfishness'
Needless to say, this is humble pie I'm happy to eat.

I love the guy and he's easily my most favorite player on the team. His heart is HUGE and his drive/will to win is top tier. He has the drive and he wants the leadership role.
We FINALLY have a PG we can be proud of after all these years.
