Unless something suddenly changes in McLemore's manner; he's not ready to start next year anyway but hopefully can provide reasonable back-up minutes for Hendo. That may be the best this draft has to offer.
I agree with Spectre that Hendo at 8 is fine. No way he signs for 6-7. If we don't sign Hendo; oh boy the Cats are in trouble.
honestly everyone feels gordon is irrelevant but he is owed like 12 mil and no one is biting on that, till maybe mid-season. gordon will play just because his contract is unmovable and he still is a reliable vet on any roster.
the dunlap firing , i think said it all .i don't think we are heading toward the rebuilding stage anymore ,so gordon will become an active player, and i feel that the bobcats are going to make some big off-season acq's.
I can only imagine the jokes on ESPN if we (or anyone else) paid Hendo the same amount that Stephen Curry makes
I assume you mean #2 off the bench right?I agree with Spectre that Hendo at 8 is fine. No way he signs for 6-7. If we don't sign Hendo; oh boy the Cats are in trouble.

First of all, it's important to remember that he's an RFA, and it's more than what Charlotte wants. I feel pretty confident in saying no team is going to offer Henderson more than 7 million. The Bobcats simply need to match it. If we're talking long-term signings, he's still not going to surpass 8 mil/year, with or without the Bobcats.
I think it's going to become evident sooner than a lot of people on this board seem to think that he's going to be worth every penny, and that 8 mil/year will actually be underpaying the man.
And for the record, I do love McLemore, and I would be thrilled if the Bobcats drafted him. He's EASILY the most polished player in this draft, he's a remarkable athlete with insane leaping abilities, and a wonderful jumpshot. My opinion is simple: Even if they draft McLemore, meet Henderson's qualifying offer for the season. It gives McLemore some time to develop (like he did in his first season at KU where he was a redshirt), and it opens up the possibility to let Hendo play the 3 more often and spread the floor with McLemore at 2.
I don't think drafting McLemore before Noel should be on the table though. And I think it's imperative to keep Henderson for at least one more season.
once again , nobody got traded at deadline.the trade deadline is not a testament to hendo's value? there was like 4-5 minor players(with the exception of redick) moved . so to use that as convo leverage is misleading especially when unrestricted free agents like hickson, milsap, jefferson, and smith didn't get traded ?
