what ever you say buddy. as i mentioned early. nothing wrong with opinions. we all have em.
"The Charlotte Hornets name has been a mainstay throughout the region for many years, and we are excited to announce our intention to re-establish this historic brand. We believe that its return will galvanize our fan base by unifying our loyal Bobcats fans with those who have strong memories of our city's NBA predecessor." MJ, 5-21-13
I wasn't a fan of the MKG pick when we picked him, nor am I a fan of the pick now...To think we could have Harden for #2 and a bit more or Harrison Barnes, or Drummond. Maybe MKG comes out next year and changes that ugly stupid shot that got him rejected more than anyone in the league despite his limited time. He's on our team so I support him and hope he proves me wrong, but I don't see him ever being an all-star player in this league, let alone a solid long-term starter.
My potato is bigger than yours.

SOMEONE will pay for THIS!
nice new barnes mix for you unc guys
can someone make this for MKG?
shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit, biyombo has better highlight mixes than that. doesn't even start showing any real basketball until 40 seconds into a 2:30 clip. and then it's just slow mo replays of about 10 dunks. c'mon son.
I'm pretty sure Adam was being facetious when he made the comment that UNC was better without Barnes, and didn't mean to be taken literally.
Barnes was a real nice player, and who couldn't use a 1st team all-acc, 2nd team all-american on their team? But, and not completely his fault, his time in Carolina was completely underwhelming. From having an attention seeking Skype announcement for his commitment, to being the first freshman ever named to the preseason all-american team, us Heels fans (rightly or wrongly) were sold a bill of goods that he was the next Carmelo or Kobe type player who would dominate the college game. The result was far, far from it.
And I'd say Kendall Marshall was the most important player on that team by far. Carolina and Barnes were awful with Larry Drew leading the point, but when Marshall took over, Barnes finally looked like a real player, and the team took off. Sophomore Barnes was better, but not dominant, and when Marshall went down and we needed Barnes to step up, he failed miserably in the NCAA tourney.
Also, Barnes was born to be a scorer, and he looks like a 20+ point per game scorer in the league. But Mark Jackson had a quote during the playoffs that Barnes was not ready for much playing time in the NBA, either physically or mentally, early on. But he went on some insane offseason workout with getting stronger, faster, and better skill wise. Those nasty dunks you see against grown ass NBA players, he never did that against slower, smaller college players. So it shows he wasn't motivated to be great in college, and let the fans get in his head. He's not headstrong enough, and never would've worked playing pro in North Carolina.
If you don't get excited/reassured after seeing that video, then you'll never be convinced. If I'm making comparisons, Barnes is a much better shooter from distance, but I'd take MKG in terms of heart, leadership, work ethic, defense, rebounding, ball handling, finishing at the rim, on-ball strength, passing, and creating.
MKG's my guy, and I'm sticking with him through thick and thin.
I like MKG, but good lord I despise that jumpshot.
How hard is it to atleast change it the something semi proper?
I feel like most of the MKG vs Barnes arguements are biased because MKG is on our team. I think had we drafted barnes it would be the other way around. Lol
