thoughts on this?...think the last time he was doing something for Team USA he won the national championship with UCONN the season after...Anyway i'm excited for Kemba getting some kind of recognition...this will definitely help him
Don't see how it can hurt him....

Great seeing him getting some recognition, he's still a underestimated player in my opinion. Too much people (who do not watch him play very often) still see Kemba as a undersized SG that play the PG position, who always look for his shot and who can't pass the ball. I may be exaggerating but that's pretty much what I hear when I speak about him with my french-speaking teammates.
Kemba is underrated I doubt he makes it
It's nice to see Kemba finally get some recognition as one of the up-and-coming players in the league outside of the realm of Bobcats affiliation because it seems like every time I read a ESPN-type article about young players he always left off the list without even a honorable mention. I hope he goes into it prepared to showcase that he's just as good as any other young PG. I remember Kyrie catapulting his hype in Team USA's mini-camp last year. Hopefully Kemba can do the same and bring a good name to Charlotte.
I really be honest, I didn't expect Kemba to come on like he did this season. I liked him, but I didn't love him. I really was a big fan of DJ and advocated to re-sign him, glad we didn't and went with Kemba....Now let's hope I'm also wrong about MKG. At least when Kemba was drafted I was okay with the pick, MKG, never liked the pick...
Can't hurt his reputation as a player. Hopefully this could push him into the B team for USA (FIBA Championship).
