Bonnell has a story up this AM with league "speculation" that Noel may indeed be there when we pick...here's the link and what does everyone think about him as our pick?
Telling you all with his size and that knee hes going to be a bust . If hes ever able to play . Olden ,knees with a much higher risk
Add (a lot of) weight and deal with an important knee injury, that's a hell of a red flag... But honestly, I'm not a doctor and will see how he'll be evaluated.
David West did recover well (but he was already strong in college...)
The main thing is if the knee is ok, he will not fall. If the knee is good, all first 3 teams won't pass on him. If he falls, then the knee scared everybody and I'm not ok to take him if the risk on his knee is important, however high is the upside, it's not worth gambling for me.
If he drops to 4 and I think we will pass on him still.

I'm not sure I agree with everyone wanting to pass on him. Major injury or not he has gobs of potential and mixed with his talent level on the defensive side already he can become a well rounded high energy starter. Everyone seems quick to point out his "possible" ineffectiveness with limited athleticism upon his return but his defensive instincts come naturally and are on another level compared to prospects out there. Not saying he is the best option at #4, but I don't think he should be overlooked or his talent downplayed because of his injury, (which people do come back from) especially since we're not looking for immediate impact anyway.
If our doctors clear him then we should take him at 4 imo
If there's at 4 you take him without thinking twice. Imagine him working with Ewing
App State '18
If both him and Alex Len are still left at four, I'd rather take Len.
EDIT: But, I still like Noel. D12 was a twig when he came into the NBA too. The fact that Noel WANTED the lottery to bounce his way so he could come to Charlotte is really cool as well. It's just his weight that scares the hell out of me. I think his offense is (very) slightly underrated, and he's obviously the best defensive prospect. I just think Len is going to be a better scorer, a solid rebounder, and a pretty good defender.
Tough call, still saying Len though. I think. Maybe. Meh.
