...and here is what Bonnell had to say about the visit "if" anyone is interested...adding a quote...
"Then Len, who’s from the Ukraine, noted how often he’s compared to Zydrunas Ilgauskas, the Cleveland Cavaliers center who played in the NBA from 1997 through 2011.
Ilgauskas, also an Eastern European, is a good analogy: A guy with true-center size who could shoot well enough to place defenders in predicaments. Ilgauskas scored nearly 11,000 career points, and if Len does that he’d be well worth the Bobcats’ No. 4 pick."

These are the teams he's already visited and he's scheduled to visit the Cavs...with article link...
"Len has already visited five teams — the New Orleans Pelicans, Phoenix Suns, Portland Trail Blazers, Oklahoma City Thunder and Charlotte Bobcats — and is scheduled to meet with the Cleveland Cavaliers later this week. The Times-Picayune of New Orleans reported Monday that the Cavaliers are considering taking Len with the top pick in the draft."
Im open to get convinced that Len is the best 7 footer in the draft, and somebody who could be our version of Brook Lopez, Gortat or Big Z... just one question about his injury. Bogut had the same injury, and since hes back Bogut doesnt seem to be the same player than before the broken foot (@TooCool, i guess u followed Boguts career more closely than me given that hes ur fellow countyryman and all; would u agree?). So, i know bone issues are more a personal individual healing process, but its still a gamble.
@inproblematique, i know u are pretty high on Len, and u regularly make his case, but one more time, what is it about his game that has more upside than the other 2 frontcourt prospects aka Bennett and Zeller....
even before the lottery this is the guy I want. has the most potential and fills a huge need. I think he could be better than brook lopez at full potential.
As far as Zeller, Len will be able to take his jumpers just like Zeller. Difference is, Len is more of a banger in the paint. He has better hands in traffic, and plays true center, unlike both Bennett and Zeller. Len has massive upside on both ends of the court, and once he has a more open court to work with, with other players who can score the ball (and a true PG), he's going to be great. I really like comparing him to Jonas Valanciunas.
I regularly switch my mind between him and Bennett... literally some days I want Len, and the next I'll wake up and want Bennett. I just think Len fills a bigger hole for us and has a ton of unmet potential. Zeller's going to be good too. Not as good as Len or Bennett, though.
I'd take all 3 over Noel, for what it's worth.
Also, for the record, I'm going to Maryland for grad school. So I'm a tiny bit biased for Len. lol

Alrighty then... then my only issue with Len is his foot, as mentioned earlier. I dont want us to draft the next Greg Oden obviously. So, Zeller with all his knocks has 1 thing going for him in comparison to Bennett and Len; his health.
But as BrotherDave always mentions (key: "Mick Jagger hips"), Zeller has a skinny-ish lower body, so from a sheer physical p.o.v. Len has him beaten there. Just as you just wrote that Len goes more and scores more in the paint - what we need.
I'm in agreement with Aircat, that Len's biggest issue is his injury and what that can mean to 7ft'ers. I'm not that high on Len as I prefer centres with more anchor and toughness, but there's no denying he is a fluid player with a good breadth of skills who has genuine NBA Centre size.
I view Zeller as a 4 and think his lack of anchor & toughness will be less of a problem because of the position he will play, though do recognise it's less than ideal.
I really am finding it a struggle this year to build and stick to board.
In terms of Len, I don't know how recovery is for stress fractures. There's been some talk about it in here, but I don't know enough on stress fractures to say much.
