According to Sam Amico and other sources the bucks and bobcats have talked about trading the #15 pick to charlotte for a veteran. Thats all the details i could find.
I'd be all for this. If Cho somehow turned corey maggette into 2 first round picks dear lord
For a Veteran....who or what could we give up then? Would they take Ben Gordon? maybe
If we could get a player at 15 as good as gordon would be, Im all for it. Thing is, Im not the sure draft is strong enough for us to even do that.
Go Panthers, Go Bobcats, Go Hurricanes - War Damn Eagle
Maybe Sessions for Gooden +15
Ben Gordon for Gooden, 15 and Moute (but that's air if money to take on and doesn't fit us)
Ilyasova, Gooden and 14 for Gordon.
I am really struggling to be honest, I imagine another team is involved as I don't really like any of those trades apart from maybe the first one where we could take a cheaper backup point guard such as Larkin or Schroeder. Or we could go with whoever falls out the lottery eg Muhammed or someone like Karasev, Olynyk, Plumlee.
I imagine the deal would be around Sessions as his time with the Bucks was great and nobody else on our roster should really appeal to them. Wouldn't be surprised if there was a third team involved we didn't know about. We have worked with the Bucks before on a draft trade, the same one that brought us Biz.
I'm interested in the 15th pick, if they will take Gordon I will be ecstatic. I believe this draft is better than last years as far as depth so a #4 and #15 pick sounds very good to me. I want to see how much young talent we can stack up between 2013-2014
it will be sessions. gordon is too much money for a trade not involving a ton of long term money coming back and (if it is) are going to let jennings walk or S&T.
don't think it would be gooden. he is garbage on a garbage salary. basically it would be 13million plus the cap hold for the 15 pick in a very weak draft. my guess would be luc mbah a moute. the bucks are stacked at the pf. however, i think he is too good of a 3/4 defender to be given up for a backup pg.
looking at rosters and salaries and this draft, it doesn't look like this is anything more than misinformation or exploratory talks. i am not expecting anything from this.
This is about what I was expecting, and likely the reason that they were interviewing MCW, Olynyk, and other guys that could potentially be there around that pick. Everyone assumed it was for a trade down scenario but a trade like this is more likely, IMO.
