I don't think Cho's that hard to understand. Look at all the guys he's drafted.
- High character
- Very motivated/work hard
- Extremely athletic
- Young, willing to develop them
Who puts in more work than Biz? Jeff Taylor is smart as hell and plays tenacious D. Kemba was a great leader and is one of the fastest guys in the NBA. MKG is a great athlete that can can play D and take it to the rim and run all day. That's the natural abilities that you need in today's game. You can work with them to refine parts of the game and teach them to shoot later.
I think whoever we get will probably fit the same mold.
I would be thoroughly surprised if it was anybody but Zeller. He fits a majority of Cho's essential core values and just happens to be a good player.
if oladipo is there i would him, anyone else i have no problem trading down to take zeller. i think zeller has just as much of a chance to be as successful as both noel and len.
i wouldn't be upset just kind of....bored with that as the pick. even if he pans out/hits his absolute ceiling, he will be tapioca pudding. just not a whole lot of fun to watch.
I just can't see taking a 2 unless that person is a pure shooter. I'd rather see a Kemba/Hendo/MKG/Zeller/Smack lineup than have either Hendo or draftee sitting on the bench. Zeller can help more.
