I'll start this thread, partly at BRNC's behest, since I've seen Big Al play in person back when he was with the Wolves here in Minny:
Dear Big Al,
I'm excited to have your offensive game that helps place you in the top 10 for centers in the league. Please learn defense.
don't be afraid to sit out about 20 games this year with minor injuries. you are getting older so it is very important to not play when you are nicked up.
nicked up = strains, sprains, hangnails, jet lag
Love this move! We finally got a top free agent to sign here. I know lots of people do not like it but we are finally going to have an exciting team to watch. I'm stoked!

Stoked...Welcome Big Al.
Im so f--king happy about this signing . it seems like the bobcats front office and i ,are on the same page on everything.1. fire dunlap ( i stated that back in dec)2. draft big 3. make hendo an priority 4. sign al jefferson. i know at times it may have seem like i'm trolling ,but im truly not ,im just dropping knowledge and the most logical moves to make our team better. so far im 3/3 for the offseason , i can make it 4/4 if hendo signs between 9-11 ,which seems more realistic than ever now. i swear, i think the front office has hacked my cpu ...lol
i continue to state that i've won prized fantasy lgs all the time ;for espn, cbssports, and yahoo for the past 8 years ,and im like 8-12 all together .so when i talk sports, i think some should respect my opinion more .
BOLD PREDICTION: 6th seed
welcome Big Al

This needs to be "folded" into the welcome thread already started...
Really, really happy. This is a big deal for the franchise itself, which has finally managed to get a big-time free agent to come here WITHOUT over-paying him. Big Al obviously sees something he likes on the team, and he must like the city and the coaching staff.
I'm just saying, he could've waited post-Dwight and his stock would have soared. He could've signed a longer deal worth way more money for any number of teams that would have wanted him badly. And he chose Charlotte under his asking price. So he wants to be here. And I think that's pretty damn cool.
Welcome, Big Al.
