If Chad Ford's Scenario for ESPN's Pre-Season Mock Draft ended up coming to fruition the Hornets (b/c that is who we will be next year) would end up with the #5 - #12 - and #13 picks. If they were to keep all three picks:
#5 - Jabari Parker - 6'8 241 - SF - The Bobcats need scoring and Parker would give the Cats a SF that can score from anywhere on the floor and he has great size for the position. He would be a great guy to have as the entry passer into Al Jefferson and/or Cody Zeller down on the block.
#12 - Wayne Seldon - 6'5 230 - SG - I love Seldon as an NBA SG. He is another guy who can flat out score and his shooting range is only getting better. Is an NBA athlete and an NBA ready body.
#13 - Semaj Christon - 6'3 190 - PG - I am a huge fan of his game as a PG. Reminds me a lot of a Russell Westbrook because of his incredible first step, great athleticism and ability to breakdown defenders off the dribble.
That would leave the Bobcats looking like:
PG 1: Kemba Walker
PG 2: Semaj Christon
SG 1: Wayne Seldon
SG 2: Gerald Henderson
SF 1: Jabari Parker
SF 2: MKG
PF 1: Cody Zeller
PF 2: Josh McRoberts
C 1: Al Jefferson
C 2: Bismack
Now that is a ridiculously talented young team with a great mix of scoring, shooting, and defense.
