I tend to agree with Chef in that they don't come around all that often, esp. at Harden's age. OKC was a small market team keeping a very keen eye on that LT limit but who also didn't want to kill their chances of contention. I think it was imperative for them to bring back a veteran SG (on a short contract) who could contribute right then...which is why I believe what the WAS team official said that their rumored deal wasn't on the table. That caveat would also have counted us out.
We certainly should have offered anything/everything to get him though short of just gutting the whole team; as always quality trumps quantity. I just don't think we had the horses to pull it off.
Do you think we should move everything for LMA if he becomes available?
