meh, i could do without the arrogance many times.
i appreciate all the posters on this site, but i will say the thing that has always attracted me to this board is the intelligence, humor, and respect displayed by many members. it is very unique thing that multiple posters will take the time to break down and debate specific points within each of GMIT's posts. to me, those are the posters who really deserve the praise.
also, since this is a thank you thread, i'd like to say thanks to some older guys who have fallen off over time: teej, muttley, davcbow, nd22, keetch, tam, vet picksetter, etc. those guys always had great posts.
and finally a thank you to jerp and kitch, you guys have excellent posts, keep up the good work.
dam, im good.
Hope Resurrected: "I think I can bring an attitude to a team as far as, ‘All right, no matter what, we are not losing this game'." - Kemba Walker
"Its okay to be bad; just so long as you're bad ass." - Keetch

I've read all of GMiT's posts. 2 or 3 times probably: I'm a fan.
Wow, to have a tribute thread early in a career for a poster is pretty impressive. Can we do roast threads too?....though on second thought, I'm sure people would catch feelings pretty quick and quit.
Chef is right, good or bad, GMIPT's posts increases board activity (uproar?) and inspires (compels?) you to respond to (rage at?) his posts. And since he'll argue his points to the death, I've probably written my longest posts in responding to him.
And although I disagree with a ton of what he says, I ain't mad at him. One thing I can say, he is supremely passionate about Hend... I mean the Bobcats! While I think his analysis has room to improve (as with any of us), he does at least actually make and attempt to research and look things up to try and support his argument. He just tends to stretch any evidence to fit his point, and rejects anything outright that goes against his argument, and then does a victory dance after prematurely claiming himself the winner.
Now, not wanting to ruin your earned "reputation" and the 'Planets' expectations for another award-winning, head-turning(scratching?) post, but one thing I'd suggest is understanding that more than one side of an argument can actually be correct. As I've said before, no opinion is completely right or wrong, things aren't simply black and white. If what you offer is an opinion, then there are good points and bad points that can be debated about it, and it can never stand on its own as pure, hard fact. And when hard evidence is brought forward, backed by stats and citations, you can't just dismiss it and carve out an exception to not include that evidence, because that just changes the goal posts and is unfair to an honest debate.
And I think that goes for anybody, in that yes, you can have your own perspective or take on something, but that doesn't mean a different perspective is dead wrong and that person is an idiot. Unless that person is really an idiot.
Anyway, since the changeover, where is the man of the hour? You can't follow up the bet and then disappear for 6 months now.
Finally, as my tribute to our special honored member, here is a custom made throne I made for this occasion:

Thank You guys ( tears coming down my face) . The reason im so passionate about Hendo because I feel its so obvious that he's a great talent and it irks me to death that no one realizes it. I'm usually right, but Hendo's contract brought my credibility down a little bit lol. Shoot,Brandon jennings just got 8 mil so i guess the market was drying up. Hendo just happened to be in the wrong free agent class.
We still have the year 14' to go, so there will be more bold predictions to come .
Mark my words....I will be Gm in training , once again .

I've seen worse. He aight in my book.
If you're absolutely starved of Bobcat's musings, my blog is here: http://bobcatatonic.wordpress.com/
I feel it's worth pointing out that a significant proportion of my basketball knowledge comes from firstly lurking on this site ... and then, when I felt able to include myself in them, the debates/discussions.
Being English and living just outside London it does make it hard to keep up with all the games. So when I miss one I know I can come on here and get a feel for what happened. Hopefully I'll fly out and catch a game later on this year and get to have a beer with some of you guys.
As to gmipt ... well done on following through and honouring your bet. Without wishing to sound condescending, do please take the time to read through and mentally digest the likes of QCThundercats' posts. Everyone can learn something from everyone else on here ... humility being one of the most valuable lessons.
So thanks to everyone on here who takes the time to post and discuss ... you've all helped to improve my understanding and therefore enjoyment of the game.
LOL is gm in potty training really GMIT?
It speaks well of anyone that honors a bet...I'm not sure what it says about the person who made the bet though...I still think GMIPT has a much better chance to become a good player agent but the GM part...not so sure...
