Pargo and Tolliver are both placeholders. And I don't have a problem with Curry not being on the roster, really. I know he wasn't going to factor in here right away if ever at all. I just think it was an easy PR boost with some potential. No harm in trying.
In the end we are going to get the same thing from Pargo, Tolliver or Curry. Nothing. I just see no advantage to bringing in Pargo, or Tolliver. Both are useless on this team as they have no future.
In my opinion on a team with no hope of the playoffs or championships, when dealing with free agents you look at nothing else beside potential.
Again, though - Tolliver didn't have any impact on whether or not Curry came to Charlotte, it was Pargo. They were never going to carry four point guards, so Curry wasn't going to bother signing a camp deal in a place he didn't have a realistic shot to make the team. If Tolliver's going to affect anyone on the roster, it's going to be Southerland or Adrien.
