Tolliver helps us win? Thats assuming we are even trying to win this year first of all, and second of all he averaged 4.1 points in 15 minutes per game last year. Thats not depth, thats filler. Proving he belongs? He hasn't even proven he can stay on a roster for more than a year. He's been on 5 teams in 6 years. He's a nobody. A never will be. Seth at the very least has the "could be" attached to his name.
Look I understand the "vet savvy" thing although I disagree that it matters at all. But this team isn't gonna win anything this year, so why not put the feelers out for some free potential rather than sign a waste of space depth guy.
I just disagree with the whole notion. Tolliver and Pargo are roster bolstering moves, for a team wanting to solidify its playoff chances, and bad roster bolsters at that. We aren't a playoff team, we may slide in this year while everyone else is tanking, but I'd much rather seek out someone who could be rather than pay guys who never were or will be.
