I guess we can see the huge difference between an obscure college assistant trying to emulate a particular NBA defensive system, versus an experienced NBA assistant coach who actually developed and mastered the said defensive system along with other defensive guru's in the Van Gundys and Tom Thibodeau. Its like trying to learn about black holes from a high school physics teacher, or Stephen Hawking.
As flawed a human as Larry Brown is, the defense he got our guys to play was a thing of beauty and a joy to watch. With the few bulldogs we have, I think it'll be exciting to watch our guys attack and shut teams down on the defensive side. Although we have to see how it translates to the regular season, I think we'll be a tough ass team to score against like the Bulls.
