Hope Resurrected: "I think I can bring an attitude to a team as far as, ‘All right, no matter what, we are not losing this game'." - Kemba Walker
"Its okay to be bad; just so long as you're bad ass." - Keetch
"I don't care if he uses a sophisticated pulley and tackle system to get his shot off if the bitch goes in."-Mustachio
On paper the Rockets have a very good, deep team; but they also have Dwight Howard so I call it even.
We're better at PG.
They're better at SG, but we're not bad and Harden's had off nights - tho less often it seems.
I don't know who their small forward is; advantage Bobcats.
OK looked it up and it appears Chandler Parsons is the SF (thought he was the PF). I don't think this is good news. This guys a pain in the ass. Flip advantage to Rockets.
At PF they have Asik, Motiejunas and Terrence Jones.....hmmm we have McBob and Zeller. Asik should be a force for them, but he's really a Center and in a funk wanting a trade. TJones still hasn't figured out the NBA.
At C of course they have Howard; so big advantage Bobcats. Hopefully big Al doesn't play so Biz can fool with him all night.
Biz does tend to foul his ass out about ever game . Jefferson should really play p/f this game
Motiejunas numbers kinda suck at 6points 2 boards with Jones no better at 6 and 3 ,,,,, Zeller posting in preseason 9 and 6 and McBOB 6 AND 5
Parsons post a solid 15 and 5 While Garcia only post 5 and 2 While MKG post 9 and 6 and Taylor post 6 and 2 last year But with the great off season Taylor should at worst post 12 and 4
Hardon is the man posting 26 and 6 assist . can't find even a half decent back up for him . Henderson post 15 and 3 assist AND Gordon 11 and 2
Lin post 13 and 6 and Beverly 5and3 Walker post 17.7 and 6 and Sessions 14.3 and 3.5 assist
Houston post a much stronger starting line up .With big advantages at the 5 , and the 2 for sure . The three position should be interesting Defence v/s Off. I think we slightly stronger at p/f And a lot stronger at point .
I still like our debth better except at center .
Houston has good fans and I expect it to be a good game . Most likely a close win for them . I really don't expect a blowout

I am pumped for the start of the Charlotte Bobcats' season! This team has a lot of potential, and I am interested to see how a lot of interesting storylines play out.
-Jeff Taylor, Taylor has made a lot of improvements over the offseason, and looks to be coming into his own. I am anxious to see if Taylor can rise up and battle MKG for the starting spot. A strong outing on the road against Houston would really help his case. Taylor can shoot, while MKG will find it difficult to drive in on Howard. I love MKG, but I am really high on Jeff Taylor. I think he has the potential to be our starting SF of the future
-PF position, This is one of the most interesting dynamics. Assuming Big Al plays Center, the Bobcats have a lot of different combinations that they can use at the PF slot. McRoberts played well with the team last season, so I feel like going with him as the starter can help space the floor, for guys like Kemba and MKG. Bismack has high expectations coming into this season, so I would love to see him work out. Bismack's defense is solid when he avoids foul trouble. If he could develop his offensive game, he'd be a force. Then of course, we have the question of how well rookie Cody Zeller will play. His preseason and summer league has given me a lot of optimism about his season outlook. I am anxious to see how much he plays, and how well he can execute in the post in real NBA action!
-Ben Gordon, BG definitely has scoring ability, but I'm still not convinced that he is 'all-in' on this team. He seemed to be a locker room cancer last season, and I feel like that hurt the morale of the team. Gordon has had some solid performances in the preseason, so hopefully that is a sign that he will be mentally engaged this season, and become a factor off the bench.
-Kemba, Kemba finally has a quality post player to utilize. I am really excited to see how well they play off of each other, and if Kemba can create some easy looks for Big Al. I would also love to see a pick-n-roll, pick-n-pop game develop between those 2. With Kemba's speed and Big Al's shooting touch, that can become a very deadly combination.
-Team Defense, The Bobcats have had solid defensive outings this preseason. However, the question remains, can they get it done when it counts? On paper, guys like Hendo, MKG, and Bismack should be able to come together to form a solid team defense. We all know that the Cats have struggled mightily to defend in recent seasons, so I look to see how the defense plays as a unit. I would love to see a top 10-12 defense, even if we can't score enough to pull out many wins early. Establishing a solid defensive culture is key to turning this franchise around in my opinion!
Those are just some of the storylines that I am interested to watch unfold! This wait is going to be so long! lol Go Bobcats!

I'm always up for discussing topics regarding the Charlotte Bobcats and the rest of the NBA
Henderson was interviewed on 610 radio today . He was asked who is the most inproved player we have . Jeff Taylor by far is the most inproved . With him Kemba and Biz making big strides as well. He said Zeller was solid and had a high BBIQ. And big AL was god sent. He said the team is very much inproved but made no playoff predictions .
He said he played with the two freshman most of the summer at Duke . He said both is pro ready and Parker could end up a all star . Big prediction their .
Him, Kemba , and Southerland worked at subway yesterday . And Kemba is the king of making subs .
