check the on/off stats. 3 pts worse with him on the floor than off per 100 possessions. couple that with his putrid offensive numbers and he is a strong NET NEGATIVE. all this, and i really like him too.

pretty interesting how he fares so differently.
All those Biz stats are encouraging and confusing and frustrating. I am a big Biz fan so I find myself watching him most intently during games. Just by the eye test this year, I am mostly impressed with his improvements this season already. I think a big problem with his offense is the fact that he is completely absent from the majority of offensive plays, which is obviously warranted. But its a catch-22. I would like to see a couple games this year against decent to great front court opponents, where we just completely focus on Biz offensively. Results be damned obviously but just constantly work him the ball on every possession possible. While I'm happy to see him improving, I think for him to continue his upward climb hes gotta get some touches in game. People say he can't catch but I think thats inaccurate. He is a big dude with big dude hands, but he's so absent from any offensive game planning that I think he just can't find a rhythm to get comfortable. And I think his "hands issue" is less about hands and more about surprise that he's actually getting the look. Anytime I've seen Biz call for it, he catches it (doesn't always do great after that haha).
Into the crevasse!

Got to say, for someone so quick and athletic Zeller doesn't get enough easy baskets in transition, I blame our guards to some extent but he needs to demand the ball
