Chicago is a strong frontrunner to sign D.J Augustin, league sources told Yahoo. After Toronto release, clears waivers Wednesday at 5 pm.

I remember when Augustin was in his rookie season, the few I watched him he looked pretty promising, but it was only smoke. Kemba and Sessions are the better players imo, so no need to get him back.
He's lucky he was good when he was 17 because if he had come into the league as an unknown he would never made more than the league minimum. The only explanation for why he is still in the league is name recognition.
I just knew the Bulls were going to get him.
disagree completely with people saying he was drafted into a bad position and that's the reason he kind of blows. He's just not a very good player. He has no confidence in his abilities, and his abilities are not at all refined. He's only a mediocre passer, he doesn't have much range, and he basically relies on driving into the paint for points, but without confidence (and, frankly, talent), he gets crashed on immediately.
DJ isn't an NBA player. I hope he finds a niche, but he has no business being a first or even second string PG.
To whomever said they'd take Augustin over Pargo. Go home, you're drunk.

I reckon it's our fault to some extent, we didn't develop him at all. He is exactly the same player now as he was when coming out if college
DJ looking pretty good tonight so far against the Thunder. Wasn't looking too bad last night (although the same couldn't be said for the rest of the Bulls). Ballwhore still keeping tabs around here?
