Paul George went 2-12 with Jeff guarding him, okay he might not be scoring like Ben but he is ten times the defender
Gordon is playing either to showcase him for a potential trade or because Clifford has decided he prefers him to JT. If Gordon is still here when MKG returns it will be interesting to see who the first wing off the bench will be.
I can't stand to see the guy on the bench much less on the court. I'm sure I said "I hate you Ben Gordon" 6 times during the 4th quarter just last night. He always gives up more than he gives you and on top of that he's LAZY. Ironic as hell to me that he's reputed to be such a workout warrior.

I think there trying to see if they can get him going. I am starting to feel like Clifford is putting guys in a position to succeed, and I think it is worth a look to see if he can do something with Ben Gordon.
I don't think Ben does anything well besides shoot. His defense is awful, even when he gives good effort. He makes some bone headed passes and drives. That said you can always use a good shooter especially off the bench. A shooter you can't leave seems like a perfect compliment to Sessions or Jefferson if he starts playing good basketball.
When Ben Gordon gets on a hot shooting streak, good things happen. Even though he chucks in high percentages regardless, he is still our best ranged threat off the bench. I have no problem with Clifford playing him. Especially now that MKG is injured, we need to plug the hole in our rotation and Jeff Taylor just isn't ready to take on the full burden of available minutes. I doubt Cho dumps his expiring contract (which is very important for our summer plans) unless he gets a seriously good talent/pick return.
