It'd be interesting to see what he'd be doing if he had stayed in Memphis. I remember watching Lowry after he was traded to Houston on occasion thinking he was a really, really good PG to be coming off the bench.
I will say without hesitation that the only reason DeMar DeRozan made the All-Star team is because of Lowry. Without a decent PG to move the ball and create openings like Lowry does, DeRozan would be chucking bad shot after bad shot like he has done in the past.
(And, I guess I should say, even as a secondary Raps fan [family ties], DeRozan, even with his numbers, shouldn't have made the AS team over Al or Lowry. He's a great scorer, but he gets a lot of help, primarily from Lowry. He's not the worst pick for the Eastern team *coughJoeJohnsoncough*, but Al should be in over him. And Johnson, Noah, and Bosh. But that's not entirely relevant to this thread, just adding to my point that Lowry is a great PG, and the only reason DeRozan is on the team.)
