OK spectre, I think I've fixed yours through the back end. Let me know if you see it now.

If anyone else has the same problem, they can go to their UserCP --> Edit options, scroll to the bottom and select 'Enhanced Interface' under 'Message Editor Interface'

The Social Groups are never active and just a waste of space.

There is an option to turn it off in the UserCP. Once you do that, you should feel slightly less gay.
