Above is a link to an article about potential 2006 Charlotte Bobcats draftee Adam Morrison. He is being hyped as the next \"Larry Bird\" which is a huge stretch, but from what I've seen he definitely has legitimate NBA offensive skill, playing pro defense however is a concern.

The more I see Adam Morrison\'s offensive insanity, the more I\'d like to see him in a Bobcats uniform. Screw his liabilities on defense, This kids offensive skills can\'t be passed up.

I know the game was on at the same time as the Bobcats game, but did anybody else see any of the Gonzaga / Stanford game.

I recorded it and just finished watching the second half. This was really the first time that I watched Adam Morrison closely, My impressions are: Good Lord this kid is clutch, this kid is truly ready and not just a bunch of hype.

Having EO50 and especially Crash Wallace in the line up means that we have an allowence for 1 wing player who is more offensive orientaed than defensively.

Morrison and Reddick could have a place on this team for sure.

If we don\'t get a scorer soon, we will forever be a medicore team.

If I was the GM of the Bobcats I would prefer to take Redick. Over his college career he has better numbers in almost every category. Remember, 2 yrs. ago Redick was looked at as having a jump shot comparible to Bird. Sports analysts are too quick to spew out names of who college athletes are comparable to. Redick would be placed at SG, which means you can leave Wallace at SF and Knight or (better yet) Felton at PG. Also, I would take the all-time leading scorer of the ACC over a player who has had 1 great yr. in the WCC.

The thing that scares me about drafting Redick that high is he would be at a size and athleticism disadvantage 9 out of 10 nights in the NBA, theres only so much that an incredible jumpshot can make up for.

Adam Morrison proved yet again -vs- Xavier why he deserves to be the top pick. He wound up with 35 points, 4 three pointers, and several clutch passes and rebounds when the game was on the line. Did anybody else see the second half of that game?

Geting Morrison would be great for the Bobcats. His defense could be a problem but he would already play with gerald wallace, who could guard the opposing teams best guard or small forward. on offense he could just stand in a corner and nail 3s all day.

DannyT, Welcome to the board!!B)

There are a lot of people out there that are concerned with his defense, But this kid can put the ball in the basket like nobody else in college ball, And thats exactly what the Bobcats need.

You have a good point, with strong defenders like Emeka, Wallace and Felton on the roster, the Bobcats could tolerate one player who isn\'t exactly a \"lock down\" defender.... And oh yeah, Welcome to the Board!
