Default The Bobcats need to TRADE their Draft Pick

The Bobcats need a good shooting guard to go along with Raymond Felton. If that means getting rid of B. Knight and another player (anyone other than G. Wallace, May, Felton, and Okafor) then so be it.

This draft is extremely weak on 2 guards. The Bobcats will most likely have a top-five pick.

I would love for the Bobcats to find some way to get Gerald Green from Boston, who went at No. 18 last year. I think Felton and Green could be a sensational backcourt in a couple of years. Combine that with May and Okafor if they can stay healthy, and the Bobcats would definitely have potential.

I know the Celtics are high on Gerald Green\'s potential. I don\'t blame them, but Green went at 18, and the Bobcats have a top 5 draft pick (more than likely), plus they could send out J. Jones, B. Knight, P. Brezec, or someone else, two of them if necessary, along with that pick, for Gerald Green.

That\'s the way the Bobcats should go. They need a guy who can play 2 guard, which this draft is weak on, and Gerald Green could do that even though he\'s 6\'8 just like Tracy McGrady has done at 6\'8.

    Tray,

    Welcome to the board!!! :P B) :P

Gerald Green and Felton together in the backcourt isn\'t such a farfetched idea, If the Bobcats can snag the top pick and the Celtics are infatuated with a particular player, then maybe they\'d be willing to give up Gerald Green in order to swap picks. Thats a lot of IFS though.

What do you think of the Bobcats trading down and drafting Rodney Carney? His athleticism is supposed to be Vince-like.

    Thanks for the welcome.

Carney\'s alright, but I don\'t think he has star potential, and why would you draft anyone that high who doesn\'t? I just think there\'s something about Gerald Green that says with good coaching and a good situation, he could be a superstar, and I think Charlotte offers that. I think Boston is a dead end situation. I think Charlotte offers Green a lot of freedom to improve.

I don\'t think Carney has the potential that Green does. I don\'t like anyone in this draft. I think it\'s the weakest draft in a long time. A bunch of players, none of which should even be considered as starters in the NBA.

Last year\'s draft was much stronger. When the guy from LSU is considered to be the top prospect just based off of 5 games in the NCAA tournament, you know the draft this year is weak. JJ Redick won all of these awards, and in any other draft he\'d be lucky to even be considered a lottery pick, but this year he is? It\'s weak.

I thik the Bobcats would be better served to trade their draft pick to a team for someone that\'s already in the NBA because no one coming out this year is worth it.B)
