Default NBA GMs dissed Raymond Felton

In this [url/www.nba.com/awards2006/gmsurvey_roy.html]link[/url] in an informal survey, The NBA General Managers rated who they thought was the best rookie out of the 2005-2006 class, and they picked Raymond Felton fourth behind Chris Paul, Charlie V and Andrew friggin Bogut!!
Damn, The Bobcats get no love from the national media. I\'m sure that when they vote on Defensive player of the year, that Gerald Wallace won\'t get any props for that either.

I don\'t give a fuck anymore I\'m tired of trying to debate Feltons skills to fans that look at a high draft pick or a 40 point game against a bad defense as someone being better that a great PG like Felton. Real basketball fans no Felton > Charlie V and Bogut.

Unfortunately, none of the Bobcats are going to get the respect that they deserve until they start to get more wins on the court. Winning solves everything.
Emeka probably would have lost out on the 2005 R.O.Y. if the Bobcats weren\'t running a big time campaign for him to get the award.

Its another side effect of having ZERO nationally televised games. Outside of people in the Charlotte area, hardly anybody got to see the Bobcats play, so nobody knows anything about them.

I just watched some of the so called NBA \"Experts\" on ESPN talk about players that might win this years defensive player of the year award. They talked about Ben Wallace, Ron Artest ( he didn\'t even play for most of the season ) and Alonzo Mourning ( HE doesn\'t even get 20 minutes a game anymore ). But not a peep about Gerald Wallace. If it was somebody on the Knicks or Lakers that got 2+ steals and 2+ blocks in a season, they would already have the trophy engraved.
