I\'m not a fan of how he ran the team when he was with the Wizards (Kwame Brown, trading away Rip Hamilton) but he will give the Bobcats some badly needed media attention. Right now the Bobcats are the NBA\'s red headed stepchild when it comes to media attention.

He blew it with Kwame, theres no doubt about that, but therewere also some quality moves like picking up Gilbert Arenas in the 2nd round of the draft.

In the first 2 years of the Bobcats organization, Bernie Bickerstaff hasn\'t had to answer to anybody but Bob John$on, I wonder how hes going to react to answering to MJ?

    djack, welcome to the board!

To answer your question, if Bernie gets his panties in a bunch over having to report to MJ, then hes just going to have to suck it up and deal with it.

Below is a snippet from this [url/www.charlotte.com/mld/charlotte/sports/basketball/nba/charlotte_bobcats/14829133.htm]Charlotte Observer article[/url]

Q: How is the decision-making from a player personnel standpoint to be divided between the General Manager and owner/supervisor of player personnel?

A: It\'s real simple. Michael is an owner. Bernie is the General Manager and Head Coach. General Managers and coaches report to owners. Michael has the decision-making authority.

    Default The MJ effect

Now that its been reported that Jordan will have final say on ALL basketball player, coach and GM decisions, What players that are currently on the roster do you think stand to benefit or lose out because of MJs presence? (Felton and May are the obvious choices) Also, which player in this year\'s draft most seems like the type of guy that MJ would want to add to the Bobcats roster?

Crash will benefit the most. He has always looked up to MJ and has quoted him often. If Crash can learn some offense from Jordan..........watch out world!!

I think Jordan will love Roy.

Roy is a competitor, smart and does a bit of everything.

I could see Gay or Roy benefitting the most out of some MJ one-on-one.

But it all depends on how \"hands on\" MJ is. By the sounds of things, he will be heard but not seen.

It sounds weird, but I could see Jordan being impressed by Morrison, with his high intensity.
I also think that Sean May should benefit from Jordan\'s presence. With Mr. TarHeel around, I doubt if May will be allowed to balloon up to 785 pounds again.
The person who is truly S.O.L. is Brevin Knight, With Jordan calling the shots this is Raymond felton\'s team now. No more of that Felton/BK backcourt nonsense.
