Default What its going to take to sign Wade in 2007

    Greg Oden.

If the Bobcats are able to luck out in the lottery next season and get Greg Oden, then Wade might be enticed to sign with the Bobcats. Oden would allow him to play with another dominant big man, and by the end of next season the Bobcats roster will without a doubt have a better future ahead of them than Miami\'s

going into 2007/2008 with a little bit of lottery luck and a solid free agent signing in 2006, Adding Wade would give you a lineup of:

    Felton
Wade / ( Morrison or Gay)
Crash / ( Morrison or Gay)
    Emeka / Sean May
Greg Oden / Pryzbilla ( through 2006 free agency )

First of all Wade needs to hold off on signing an extension this summer.

Give me YOUR scenario of what it would need to happen to get Dwyane Wade in a Bobcats uniform in 2007-2008.

That would be amazing to get Oden and then pull in Wade because we would have one of the youngest teams with sick talent, its scary to think of Wade and Felton together *For other teams*.

But what if we could get Brandon Wright from UNC he is rumored to be the next KG.

Having MJ as a free agent recruiter is going to help a ton, it might even be stop top level players and their agents from steering away from Charlotte because we\'re a \"small market\" team.
Personally, I\'m sick of that small-market/big-market crap. New York is as big of a market as it gers, but tey still finished in the Bobcats\' rear view mirror last season.

My theories on what it would take to sign Dwayne Wade...

A Playoff Appearance + Top $$ + one of the following

    1) Get rid of Bickerstaff

    2) A dominant big man, although I\'m still not too high on Oden. From what I\'ve read he\'s passive and doesn\'t have the desire to be \"The Best.\"

    3) An extreme amount of luck on our part!

I love the Bobcats and all...but I don\'t see Wade going anywhere that doesn\'t have a legitimate (sp?) shot at winning the Finals. He\'ll get all the money he wants anywhere...I just believe he wants to add a few more rings to the one he won this past week. I give the bobcats about a < 5% chance of landing him. On the other hand...(and totally contradicting myself, i know)...LeBron James should come here!!!

This is a perfect dream, but as I just said it is unfortunately a \"dream\". I can see no way signing Wade, especially just after winning a title and Finals MVP award with Heat. He will definitely extend his contract. While having a \"Shaq\" along him, he shouldn\'t even think about another option.

I think the best chance to land Wade will come about six years later. If we would still have Jordan, we might sign him as a 10 year veteran. Because he\'s a great MJ fan.

I think the Miami Heat are a one year champion, and I\'d put them maybe 4th or 5th on the list for winning the championship next season. Plus their roster is getting older by the millisecond. Looking at the end of next season Zo will be gone, Payton is already ancient, Shaq will be 36 going on 37. The only other pieces that you have left will be \'Toine, James Posey and J-Will (Nothing to brag about).
The Bobcats roster will be much more solid than Miami\'s following next season\'s draft. I\'d put our chances at higher than 5%... Maybe 15%.

SORRY but thats just a dream. No chance of WADE or olden. James slim. Our best chance is MELLO . He dont like Denver hates CARL , Could play in the east . Play for the best of all time. And have all this young talent around him.Needless to say he he would get his cahnce to show what he could against. WADE and JAMES. Let me know your thoughts on MELLO....

James is about to sign his extension so hes out of the picture for 2007, I agree that we should make a serious run at Carmelo he can\'t be happy with his current situation with the Nuggets.

If we draft Morrison or Gay and then some how we land Melo, we might as well say good bye to Crash and trade him while we can.

Thats what you would call a \"good problem\". I\'m looking forward to the day when the Bobcats biggest prroblem is having too much talent and figuring out how the coach is going to divvy up the minutes.
