I\'m glad you made a thread this should be fun leading up to the draft tonight I will be here.

On to the guys in the draft later on today, do yall think that Rudy Gay will develope that take over a game mentalitiy like so many others want him to add to his game? IMO I like his style of play, people call him soft because he is a team player. When I hear them dogging Gay I think of Ben Gordon enough said.

On to Morrison if we draft him we all know his offense is out of this world but his lack of D turns me off of this man he will get his 20 a game but if he is given away 20 it wouldnt matter.

I havent seen a lot of Brandon Roy, the little I have seen is great he plays defense and is a floor general, I would love the combo of him and Felton they would cause defense problems with there quickness.

What do yall think about this here is a site that will continue to update leading up to the draft they have some news about us possible making a deal check it out.....The whoe situation is lovely for us since we would move down to 4 we could still get Gay or Roy and we get a pick around 30 or 31 and pick up Dee Brown we win.

Thats the tricky thing about this draft, all of the top players have some warts:
Rudy Gay: questions about his heart and desire
Ammo: Defense and diabetes
Roy: Knees
LMA: Is he too soft to be a big time impact player.

I think by midseason next year, there are some GMs that are going to look back on this draft and feel like idiots and there are others that will look back and feel like geniuses.

I just read the link on the board and it said thet portland , May trade picks with the cats.If that comes about its a win,win,4 us.
Portland .... Gets 3rd pick and takes thair man
Morrison.
We get the 4th plus the 30th or 31st pick.
Say we then take the 31st and the 50th along with B.K.
put that into a bundle ,its no telling what we could get four that.In a trade, or DRAFT position.
I four 1 would make that trade in a min flat.
Do you guys think it would be a good trade or what.

Its a great trade IMO, think about it at 4 we get Gay or Brandon Roy, at 31 we could pick up PG Dee Brown and at 50 we can go big with Roy Hollins we would have a great draft.

If we do pull that off give Bigerstaff the crdit for it . Hes the one who kept saying Barginani would not go past 3rd. I think that made the raptors change thair mind about a trade with portland.
That may have just gave us that 31st pick.

Nba Draft.net has us taking Morrison now man this is a race between both of these guys on Realgm someone said that word is that Morrison would land in charlotte and now they are saying that Morrison agent was on a Portland radio station saying that Portlan would do anything to get Morrison.

This is the craziest draft in years, The guy that mocks have going #1, could have ended up being drafted 6 or 7, and the guys at 6 or 7 could end up being picked #1.
