If Jumaine Jones doesn\'t come back, then Withers might be able to fight out a roster spot going into the season.
Withers is pretty hardcore, hes a poor-poor-poor man\'s Ben Wallace.

I have not seen this guy play but everything I\'m hearing about him sounds great he is 6\'8 230 dam he will make the team.Former Charlotte 49ers standout Curtis Withers has been invited to participate in the Bobcats\' summer rookie camp which begins here Monday.
Withers, who averaged 16.1 points and 11.3 rebounds in his senior season, was not drafted Wednesday night, but will join the Bobcats as a free agent.
The Bobcats are expected to release today the list of free agents invited to their summer camp.
Check this outScouting Report: A power forward who can play some 3 as well ... Great scorer around the basket, knows how to finish with his size and quick feet ... Has a solid game with his back to the goal ... Can get from point A to point B with his first step and ball-handling when facing the basket ... A terrific rebounder ... Decent shot-blocker ... One of the most underrated players in the nation ... Has his share of off nights, and you\'d like to see him bring it every game.

I would sign him and move Jones or Ely out. There is no we can pass up on this guy with the people we have picked up before *ie Lonnie Baxter*. This guy is defense first of all and you saw the video. Imagine this dude backing up Gerald Wallace oh my god.

I\'m glad that Withers is getting a shot with the Bobcats. If he doesn\'t stick on this roster, he\'ll be on somebody\'s roster for sure.
