I\'m not sure about this deal I don\'t think a player like Cook would really benefit our team if we looked at a guard I might think twice about this.
...in a deal to move Al Harrington to the Lakers, Hoopsworld is [url/www.hoopsworld.com/article_18322.shtml]speculating[/url] that the Bobcats could be used as a middleman in this deal.
What are your thoughts on whether or not there is anything off of their rosters worth scavenging?

RIP Michael Jackson & Steve McNair
If we hadn\'t already just signed Jake, I would have taken Mihm and a 2nd to facilitate the deal.
Signing Jake makes that moot though.
We wouldn\'t need EO50, Primoz, McMay, Hollins, Harrington, Jake, Mihm AND possibly Ely all at once.
8 guy\'s in a big man rotation is way too many.
IMO Mihm is just one step above 12th man status. The Lakers or the Hawks would have to do way better than that to gain my interest

It\'s a no brainer.
Mihm is no better than Voskul or Harrington for that matter. I don\'t want to acquire serviceable players, I want to acquire players that will make a difference.
I get what you are saying slam but why resign Jake, Sign Othello, draft Hollins if we are going to pick up another big to put on our already deep roster.

Maybe we could use this as a way to weasel Josh Childress off of the Hawks roster.
Win when you can, lose if you must, but always cheat!

and for the record I think the Harrington signing is a complete waste of a roster spot. If he could log some PT at the 5 it wouldn\'t be so bad but he is a seriously undersized waste of space. If we hadn\'t already just signed Jake, I would have taken Mihm and a 2nd to facilitate the deal.
If they\'re going to be a middleman, then it needs to be on some kind of deal that MEANS something. If you\'re using that cap space just to improve the 11th or 12th man on your roster, then I think its a waste of time.
