Set your Tivo, DVR or VCR for those of you still in the stone age :P Slovenia will be playing the USA tuesday August 22nd at 6:30 AM Eastern on ESPN2.
I read somewhere, ( I\'m too lazy to look for the link now ) that Primoz hasn\'t looked in the best condition in the World Championships. Has anyone one else heard the same?

I have. I read in one article that he\'s just tired. He said that he needs a break.

Hopefully he just needs some rest, If thats the case, then its not such a bad thing. But if hes out of shape, then thats not a good sign of what we can expect from him this season.

In 2nd day of Champs, Slovenia lost Italy 80-76, Primoz started and scored 8 points(4-5 fg) in 9 minutes. But I didn\'t understand why he didn\'t play more. He could be injured but I haven\'t read anything about it.

Argentina have beaten Lebanon very easily, Walter Herrmann was the topscorer for the team. In the first day, he didn\'t score a single point against France, but in this match he scored 23 points in just 17 minutes with 6-8 3pt shooting.

I haven\'t heard anything about an injury for Primoz. If he is just tired then it would be in his best interest to rest up following the world games, because this is his contract year coming up.

Sounds like Walter Herrmann had a good game I look forward to see more of this guy he seems like the type of player that could give the bobcats positive play even if he is not starting. Also I hope Primoz just needs a break or something and its not to serious because we cannot afford a injury to another big if EO50 is not 100%.

Walter Herrmann continues shining in World Championships although Venezuela was just a piece of cake for Argentina. They won 96-54 and Herrmann played 27 minutes, scored 25 points(7-10 2pt, 3-7 3pt, 2-2 ft) grabbed 9 ribaunts, both wew team highs.

I\'m watching the match now on Turkish Tv. Herrmann looks very athletic. He looks as a reliable low-post scorer.

Primoz Brezec and Slovenia will be playing against USA tomorrow.

Those are good looking numbers that Herman is putting up in the World Championsips. I realize that its not NBA caliber competition, but its impressive regardless of that.
It looks like he may fit in well in the role of being a high energy guy off the bench for 10 to 15 minutes a game at the forward spots.

Tamburello, How has his defense looked?

The numbers are good looking but Herrmann tried a little much to make this numbers. For example he had 0 assists. During 2nd half, neither Ginobili nor Nocioni(he had a minor ankle injury) played more than 5 minutes. Also the other stars, Luis Scola and Fabricio Oberto didn\'t play much and Herrmann played all but 3 minutes in 2nd half.

Due to Turkish TV commentators, Bobcats scouts were watching the game and Herrmann put an extra effort to show himself off. Since Venezuela is a weak opponent, the all Argentine players but Herrmann didn\'t tire themselves.

And his defense, I wish you hadn\'t asked his defence. He wasn\'t looked as a heck of defensive player, his defence wasn\'t his distinctive feature. He helped rebounding a lot, but didn\'t block a shot and made 4 fouls. All in all, he is not a G-Force caliber defender, maybe even Morrison would be a better defender.

But I can\'t put definite judgments. The match was flat. After seeing Serbia&Montenegro-Argentina match on Thursday, I will have more clear ideas.
