    Default RIP Red Auerbach

    From ESPN.com...

\"Red Auerbach, perhaps the greatest coach in the history of the NBA, has died at 89. Auerbach led the Celtics to eight straight titles from 1959-66 and won nine overall.\"

for those that don\'t know much about red auerbach, i recommend reading \"let me tell you a story\" by john feinstein. i think it\'s a book that most basketball fans would find interesting, and it gives you a good idea of the kind of person auerbach was, on and off the court.

    Red was:
    * Arguably the greatest coach ever.
    * Arguably the greatest GM ever.
    * Without a doubt ahead of his time socially with his ability to be colorblind, and judge men on what was inside their skin.

    He\'ll be missed.
