First poster....
Was at opening night and couldn\'t resist a few comments:
That game was winnable, when Wallace went out so did the fire...
May and Okafor put up nice stats despite missing many easy shots, so that should improve. They both also had some VERY strong rebounds in traffic (May) and blocks (Okafor). Unfortunately both looked tired in the 2nd half...where\'s the legs, don\'t these guys train for this? The Pacers scored at will inside during the second half, with very little resistence.
At a critical time, with about 3 minutes left in the 3rd Qtr., we had Robinson, Voskuhl, Harrington, Carroll and Knight on the court. Bernie was resting 3 of his 5 starters all at once (Wallace was hurting; Ammo didn\'t start)...he\'s prone to do that...but this was when the game was lost; the Pacers had just taken the lead and extended it beyond reach against this group at the end of the 3rd. By the time the starters came back it was over. I just don\'t think that\'s good coaching to put your team in that position.
Brezac, Anderson and Hollins were at the top of the escalator signing autographs before the game; man these guys must hate doing thatcome on Primo, smile man! We love you!
Saw almost no screens, picks etc for AMMO...he was mostly on his own out there, even so he played well, hustling and well, ..caring.. and oh...he\'ll learn that he can\'t take 6-0 NBA point guards off the dribble soon enough :P
Go Bobcats, win anyway!
Bobcats Redemption?
Keetch,
Welcome to the board. I have to agree with you, most of Adam\'s points came completely on his own, there were no screens or plays run for him that I could see. I guess that hes going to have to earn the respect of his teamates before they really start to feel comfortable calling his number on offense.
