    Default Matt Carroll's role.

He's seemed to deem himself worthy of a 6th man/starting gig with his performances of late. He provides the spark, the outside shot, and the consistant jumper we've been lacking at the 2. Does anyone feel Matt and Adam deserve to split the role as the starting 2? Once Brevin comes back he's definitely out a starting gig, Wallace fills the role of SF nicely, May/Okafor man the PF spot like studs, and Okafor/everyone else at the C. I almost forgot the big one - RAYMOND IS THE STARTING PG!!

So all in all, does anyone agree with me that Matt/Ammo should be our starters, with the person performing better starting? I've also enjoyed when both of them are on the floor, because Matt seems to take pressure off of Ammo and lets him calm down and get into a groove.

IMO, Matt has been a godsend for us from what he's provided. Steady production and a versatile guy.

P.S. On another note, I've enjoyed Matt's lack of turnovers. He's averaging .8 TO's per game. I thoroughly enjoy that stat.

Anderson is the one who shuld come off the beanch.
Matt if he had a starting role and 30 mins per game . He would ave 20pts per game. Morrison is good to and can score you 10pts in 5 mins . Hes a great lift coming in off the beanch. But Morrison shuld start til Wallace comes back...

    Thanks Ammofan!

With Crash being out, I actually like both Adam and Matt in the starting lineup at the same time. Matt at SG and Adam at SF. You run into trouble however when you have a high powered offensive minded SF on the opposing team.

Definitely true. The big names that come to mind here are Lebron and Caron Butler. Both can light up at any moment, and are in need of a crash to defend them. Adam did, however, shut down Lebron earlier in the year.

The ongoing stellar play of the Hammer (it's nothing new, he's been doing it here the moment we picked him up from the D) has made the need for Ammo redundant.

We should look to trade Ammo post haste and cash in while we still can.

Its waaaaaaaaaaaay to early to consider trading away Adam. Just 30 games into the season, hes barely scratched the surface of the player that hes going to become.

We know that Matt is and will always be solid, but he won't be a star. Adam might be a star down the road.

ZIGGY i agree and disagree with you.
Right now Matt is better in every aspect of the game. And if give 30 mins a game he will ave 20pts at worst. He could be a star if given the chance. He can get his shot off quicker than Dell curry. I allso think its a better shot than Curry. He all so handles the ball and draws fouls better than Dell.
Morrison is a scorer if hes on he can drop 15 on you in a few mins.
His defence has to and will get better. Hes a rookie a could be a star once he becomes more consistant.
But right now Matt is the better player.

    I'm 98% in agreement with you :P

The way that I view it, If the Bobcats were making a legitimate run this season, then I would use Matt as my starting SG and give him the bulk of the minutes, because today, he is the superior player.

But when we're making a run two or three years from now ( I hope ), Matt won't be able to hold a candle to what I believe Adam will become.

Right now Adam seems to be on maybe 1/2 or 1/3 of the games. I'd imagine that next season he'll become more consistant and be on 2/3 of the games, the season out of that maybe 3/4 of the games.

Adam Morrison will only ever be a 6th man and can never log big time mins.

He's too much of a defensive liability.

If all he is ever going to be is an impact bench player, then I'd rather have the Hammer for that role who is a hell of a lot cheaper and a hell of a lot more effective.

If we trade Ammo now we have a chance to get at least equal value back.

The Hammer wouldn't attract that great a deal.

That being the case it would make MUCH more sense to retain the Hammer and trade Ammo.

    Make sense?

Isn't Matt Carroll just as much of a defensive liability with a lower ceiling than AMMO?
