I could deal with Norm Chow being our O.C. I heard he was up for the Arizona Cardinals head coaching though.

Davidson coached on the New England Patriots sidelines, where he contributed to five playoff performances, including four division titles, three conference titles and three Super Bowl championships. During the last three seasons (2002-04), Davidson served as the tight ends/assistant offensive line coach in New England.

The Panthers interviewed Cleveland assistant head coach Jeff Davidson Friday, making him the second known outside candidate for the offensive coordinator job.

The 39-year-old Davidson served as an interim coordinator for the Browns last year, but they hired over the top of him last week. He's coached tight ends and offensive line in the past, and the Panthers could be looking for options at those spots as well depending on what happens with their vacant O-line job.

Found this quote few minutes ago he has playoff experience which is always good.

No way that can happen. They have a stud QB, and are on the rise. The only way he'd consider leaving is if he became a head coach.

    Panthers:
Above average but will never be great QB, questions (as always) in the running game. The biggest positive is the best reciever in the game. Once Smith goes down, the offense will. Chow would never want that.

    Titans:
Stud QB who is ever improving in Young. Vastly improved running game with Travis Henry. The recieving corps is decent, but nothing spectacular. Their O-line is above average.

They'd be more likely to grab a head coach or an offensive coordinator from the college ranks. Who's Lousiville's offensive coordinator?

An Ohio paper has corroborated what Pat Yasinskas suggested. They say John Fox has completed all interviews for the OC spot and told candidates that the final announcement should be made by this Tuesday.

Also of some note, while the Bengals gave permission for the Panthers to interview QB coach Ken Zampese, they denied permission to the Browns. With their being a division rival, that's not necessarily surprising.
I want Ken! just look what he did for the Bengals offense.
